Predictions have many bracing for Beast from East 2

Predictions have many bracing for Beast from East 2

According to climate experts, quoted in leading newspapers, Britain is facing a new Beast from the East with predictions that it could arrive in late Feb or early March.

The Met Office has backed this up with a warning that a “major weather event” which brought the Beast from the East to Norfolk is now very probable in the coming weeks.

The forecaster has said a major Sudden Stratospheric Warming  (SSW) is “now likely” in late February or early March but stressed this does not always equate to a Beast from the East-like weather scenario.

Back in 2018, it was this same Sudden Stratospheric Warming that bought the Beast from the East to our shores, bringing widespread snow and ice.

Weather maps from WXCHARTS are predicting a fresh deluge of snow could hit England as early as the start of March. It is suggested that in some rural areas, weather maps suggest up to 26cm of snow could fall.

We would recommend that customers keep one eye on your oil levels over the coming weeks to avoid running low and to ensure you don’t run out. We would advise ordering your heating oil when you have ¼ of a tank left.
