The Goff name can be traced back to 1888 when Herbert Goff began working from a yard in Mile Cross Norwich. The fuel business started by delivering domestic paraffin around Norwich and agricultural fuels to farms in the villages nearby.
During the 1970s many rural homes installed oil fired central heating systems and as demand for heating oil grew so did Goff with Poppy Red being introduced into our lettering and logo inspired by the official flower of Norfolk, the Corn Poppy. For nearly half a century we have proudly carried Poppy Red on our lorries, uniforms and logo, inspired by the County where we started and are still based.
This year to celebrate our roots we have decided to extend our Goff Good Causes programme and raise money for Caister Lifeboat on Norfolk Day (27th July 2023).
We pledge to make a donation of £1 for every heating oil order placed on the 27th July 2023 either by phone or online.
Can you help us reach our £500 target?
