Green Kerosene
Goff Green Kerosene FAQ's
When will the trial start?
Once the refinery we are partnering with has successfully completed all its laboratory-based tests, the next stage will be to take this to trial in a number of different settings.
How much will it cost?
Our focus is to create a cost-effective product that makes a difference. In terms of price per litre, our BIO 30 fuel will unfortunately cost more to produce but will be better for the environment than regular kerosene. As a premium bespoke product it will offer up to 28% less net CO2 emissions without the cost of changing hardware.
Will it work in my boiler even if its old?
Our hope is that we can create a product that will work across all equipment that currently operates on kerosene.
Is this a new oil or carbon offsetting?
BIO 30 will be a new product, a combination of traditional kerosene and sustainable organic material.
Will this be okay in our aga / rayburn?
Our hope is that we can create a product that will work across all equipment that currently operates on kerosene.
I still have oil in my tank - will it mix or must I have the tank cleaned out?
BIO 30 can be added to your tank without the need of emptying and cleaning it. BIO 30 can also be mixed with your existing heating oil without any problems.
When is BIO 30 available?
BIO 30 is currently in laboratory testing, following on from this will be a field trial with a limited number of participants. Once this is successfully complete we will then be able to add this to our product portfolio.
Do I need to make an investment in modifying my equipment?
The intention is that BIO 30 should not need any modifications to your heating equipment.
Is this an additive?
No this is a refinery manufactured product.
What is it made from?
BIO 30 is a combination of normal and bio-based paraffinic liquid fuel originating from many kinds of reprocessed vegetable oils, such as rapeseed, sunflower and soybean.
Do you also do a renewable road fuel?
