The Benefits of Heating with Oil

		Many people believe that mains gas is the most economical form of domestic heating. However over the past five years the average cost of heating with oil has been consistently less than all other commercially supplied fuels, and in real terms heating oil is actually cheaper than it was 30 years ago.
		Independent analysts Sutherland Associates have been publishing comparative heating costs charts for over two decades, they report that the average cost of space and water heating for a typical three bedroom home in the UK over the past four years varies so much that although LPG is known to be a cheaper alternative fuel in terms of motoring, it costs more than twice as much to heat your home than using home heating oil.
